En liten artikel från japanska nyheter, väl värt att läsa för alla Miyazaki fans ute i Sverige!
Celebrated animator Hayao Miyazaki will return to the big screen in 2008 with an original story featuring a goldfish princess who wants to be human, and a 5-year-old boy, film company Toho Co. said Monday.
Miyazaki's last creation, "Howl's Moving Castle," premiered in Japan in November 2004 and won the Osella award for outstanding technical contributions at the Venice Film Festival that year.
Titled "Gake no ue no Ponyo" ("Ponyo on the cliff top"), the film features a goldfish named Ponyo and a boy called Sosuke. The English version has yet to be produced.
Miyazaki came up with the idea while staying in a town on the Seto Inland Sea and began developing the graphics himself in October last year, Toho said.
Producer Toshio Suzuki of Studio Ghibli, the production company, said unlike his elaborate earlier works, Miyazaki's latest will feature childlike drawings.
